Music Video Magic on a Budget
Customer Challenge
Emily Whitehurst needed our support to help her reach a larger audience with her solo career. She needed professional-quality videos on a tight budget and was looking for us to co-produce them with her label. In the words of MMG’s Director of Digital Strategy, Bryan Heiden, Emily needed a final package that looked “cool as hell.”
Epic Visuals
In just five months, Heiden led MMG in producing four rad music videos that authentically embodied Survival Guide’s sound. Since we’re crazy good at making visuals look awesome while maintaining quality at a lower cost, it was totally fine that Survival Guide didn’t have the biggest budget.
Connecting Concepts
We came up with unique concepts for each video, all playing off each other. So, if you were to watch all of them one right after the other, you’d see little Easter egg references, turning it into a bigger story altogether.
Boosting Visibility
For visibility and reach, we offered Survival Guide behind-the-scenes shots for social media, which would be key in getting them more traction online and attention from new listeners.

For an artist, there’s nothing more terrifying than putting yourself out there. To survive, you must be brave and cavalier, but contrary to public opinion, you don’t have to go at it alone.
